Atul Kukar, DO, Interventional Cardiologist at Mount Sinai Fuster Heart Hospital – Mount Sinai Morningside

Atul Kukar, DO, is an interventional cardiologist at Mount Sinai Fuster Heart Hospital – Mount Sinai Morningside and an assistant professor of medicine (cardiology) at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Kukar completed his undergraduate education from Georgetown University and earned his medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. He has also completed a dual degree program at Cornell University, receiving his MBA and a MS in healthcare leadership. He completed his postgraduate training in Internal Medicine at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center of Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City. He was selected to be one of the chief medical residents and then went on to complete his training as a clinical fellow in cardiology at St. Luke's-Roosevelt in 2007. In 2008, he completed his fellowship training in interventional cardiology and in 2009 his endovascular intervention training at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. Dr. Kukar is board certified in cardiovascular medicine, nuclear cardiology, echocardiography and interventional cardiology.
